- does not employ purposeless elements
- does not hinder, or even better, helps presenting the information
- does not divert a client's attention from necessary information
- attracts attention where it is needed
- allows a client to look up contact information fast
- allows a client to buy a product/use a service, if a site provides such functions
- corresponds to the area of activity of an enterprise
- does not evoke unnecessary associations with other areas of activity or sites
- looks balanced and attractive in general
